When you visit Bella Veil, you'll get a chance to experience Historic Downtown Newton, KS. This charming, small-town is home to many family-owned businesses, rich in history & memories, and filled with friendly people who are excited to welcome you.

The buildings at 610 and 612 N. Main are best known as the Guesthouse Self Service Cafeteria, which in 1957 integrated to serve individuals of any race, several years ahead of the rest of the country. In 2012, a shingled awning was removed from the façade, and the sign for the Guesthouse was found. It was restored and part of it is preserved beneath the awning of Bella Veil Bridal Boutique today.

NORM'S COFFEE
This cozy coffee shop is right across the street from Bella Veil & the perfect place for brides & families to fuel up before visiting us. From sweet treats to coffee, Norm's is the perfect quick bite before your appointment.
Now, it's time for a little story. Our owner, Ericia Stevens, was grabbing coffee with her mother-in-law one day & found herself in the window seat staring at the empty space across the street. She was always dreaming up ways to serving this charming, little community & that day in the coffee shop, staring out the window, the entire idea came together like magic.
A bridal shop that was filled with love, focused on serving the amazing women in and around this community, and a place to celebrate this chapter of each bride's life.
The business plan for Bella Veil Bridal was written that night & a few months later, it all came to fruition.
We recommend stopping in Norm's not only for the coffee & treats, but also so that you too, can step into the story.

When you are ready to celebrate finding your dream dress, Back Alley Pizza is your next stop! It's not super fancy, but it's everything you need to relax & enjoy. You'll find our owner & team frequently visiting the best pizza spot in Kansas.
While there isn't a bad thing to order on the menu, here are our favorites. If you are a cheese lover, "Full Moon" won't let you down. Other teammate favorites are the Taco Pizza & the BBQ Pizza (yes, with the pickles.)
